This five-day workshop gives the participants a chance to discover and focus on new information and experiences that will produce an optimal use of their breathing mechanism. It is composed of morning theory classes, individual sessions with Lynn Martin in the afternoons, and performance application sessions with Robin De Haas in the evenings.
The individual sessions include a customized assessment for each participant, and an improvement of the state of the breathing mechanism using guided touch, images and individually suggested tools and solutions. A handbook containing all the material covered is distributed at the beginning of the workshop.
The new awareness and the changes that may occur with an improved use of the breathing mechanism generate an easier use of the voice and reduce the tendency to feel stressed in performing and in daily life. The renewal of oxygen in the body positively influences all parts of the person.
The workshop is open to any person wishing to improve the knowledge and use of his or her voice and breathing mechanism. The number of active participants is limited to 10 per workshop.
The work of Lynn Martin and Robin De Haas has been called a revelation and their approach astonishing by professional opera singers, as well as physiotherapists, engineers and others.
